Comfortable beds and clean rooms make for a pleasant stay. The location on a quiet street is a nice retreat from the city bustle, though expect noise from neighboring rooms. Staff are friendly, and dining at the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant is a highlight worth experiencing.

Everything was simply good. Fairly clean and the staff was amiable and excellent. The rooms were spotless and large, complete with a balcony, chairs for dining in and Shower, and with smoke detectors for safety measures too.

During my recent trip to Adelaide, I was eager to visit the Adelaide Central Market, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and fresh local produce. I chose Alba specifically for its prime location, making it easy to access the market. To my delight, the staff were helpful and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I especially appreciated the locally sourced selections available at their restaurant, which added to the authenticity of my experience in the city.
Only dislike was there were not enough towels in the room. I think four large towels for a couple would suit better.

The room I booked was a nice size and well-appointed with Shower, a balcony, as example. Everything exceeded high expectations, I would definitely return.

Location: the hotel was close enough to Glenelg and city centre as well as the restaurant. There were central heating, flat-screen TV, and a mini bar fridge in the room, loved that. Genuinely helpful and absolutely excellent staff, as it had to be...

review: The Hotel Alba is a fresh and inviting retreat, ideally located near parklands and local eateries. Rooms are spacious with great amenities like iPads. The pool area is a highlight, and the staff oversaw a seamless check-in process, though the limited room service menu could use improvement. ,rating: 8, date of stay: 2024-02-14}

Check-in was a nightmare! I was mistakenly questioned about two bookings I never made and ended up double charged. The staff didn't even apologize when I asked for help. It left me feeling really frustrated and ignored.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Alba Adelaide, right across from the park and close to fabulous restaurants. Our Parkside room with a balcony was charming, and the restaurant’s two-course set menu was good. While the stay was mostly enjoyable, the handling of our lost item was disappointing. we appreciated the relaxing pool area and proximity to iconic landmarks like Rundle Mall and Adelaide Oval, enhancing our family experience.

The Parkside King room was not only clean but also cozy, with a nice big smart TV , made my downtime good. I particularly loved the outdoor swimming pool, a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring.

I loved the location-right by the park and just a short walk to the city! The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made our New Year stay more enjoyable. the room was clean and modern, really nice to settle into after a long day.
My experience was marred by a persistent smell of smoke in the room that just wouldn’t go away. Plus, the noise from nearby parties and the vacuuming at odd hours was ridiculous. And can we talk about the parking? It was such a hassle walking to the back of the hotel! Definitely not what I expected for the price.

The parking arrangement is a bit convoluted, requiring a walk to the back of the hotel, and there's a $15 daily fee for it.

The breakfast took far too long to arrive, and it was a struggle to get a couple of drinks at the bar. How can I enjoy my stay when I expect basic service and receive minimal care? I almost veered toward a glowing review, but alas, expectations ruined it. A complimentary gesture would have been nice.
